The problem
When several companies have to prove the same facts about a product, none of them should own the record alone.
Private databases and one-to-one integrations move data around. They don't give shared governance, verified identity, or a history no single party can rewrite.
What it does
- Records organizations, configurable asset types and a verifiable reference for each document, on a permissioned shared ledger.
- A reference is a fingerprint that proves the document hasn't changed, plus a pointer to where it lives. The files stay with their owners, in their own storage.
- New product types are configuration, not code: a new sector means new settings, not a new core.
- A gateway API handles sessions, API keys and certificate-based identity, without storing operators' private keys.
- A network operator console shows the live configuration of the network.
- Sector products such as BPN run as separate apps on top, so each can evolve without touching the foundation.
